Leanne Small

Leanne has extensive senior management and team leader experience gained through her 40 years’ employment in the Vocational Education sector, as well as strategic planning and implementation, negotiation, and formal qualifications in leadership, business management, administration and finance. 

Leanne has served on a number of Boards and local committees over the years and currently chairs the Country University Centre (CUC) Steering Committee. She is also a Director on the Board of Murray Irrigation limited and Kusik (Deniliquin Newspapers) Board. 

Leanne is a partner and business manager for her families’ farm enterprise, which includes irrigation holdings in the Edward River Council area, a dry land farm in the Murray Shire and a cattle farm in the Bega Valley in NSW.

John Mulham

John has extensive small business experience gained through many years of partnership in an accounting practice that employed over 20 people.  He is now a retired chartered accountant with a wealth of experience on not-for-profit committees and boards including time as  a director on the board responsible for delivering the iconic Deniliquin Ute Muster.

John who was born and raised in Deniliquin now spends his time as a part-time farmer, keen cyclist and interested community member.

David Crew

David has a background in archaeology and community development and is married to Jeanette Crew IAM, a Mutthi Mutthi women from southern NSW

David in manager of Yarkuwa Indigenous Knowledge Centre Aboriginal Corporation which was established in 2003 as an initiative of the local Aboriginal community in Deniliquin.

David and Jeanette own a small farm near Deniliquin where they are exploring Indigenous agricultural production

Leanne Mulham

Leanne commenced her career with a Bachelor in Applied Science and began working in management roles within the Food industry including McCains, Nestle and Unilever.

Moved to Deniliquin when she met husband Geoff together raised 2 children while working as book keeper and then Financial Planner for local accounting firm.

Now Leanne is more focused on civic roles including a her first term as Councilor for Edward River Council and various roles within local not for profit organisations.

In her spare time Leanne enjoys playing golf getting community involved in Pickleball and supporting Geoff on our small irrigated sheep farm.
